Bishop Moses Lewis is a native of the Halcyondale Community of Sylvania, Georgia (Screven County). He is currently the Presiding Bishop of the The Church of Christ Holiness unto the Lord, Inc. (The CCHL, Inc.) which is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia. Bishop Lewis has worked untiringly in ministry and has pastored many churches in the CCHL, Inc. body. He is a leader that builds both spiritually and temporally. Where ever he has served, he has left a mark of building up the servants of God in their most holy faith, and building (renovating) the house of God. Under Bishop Lewis’ administration, tremendous growth, both spiritually and numerically, has been experienced. The CCHL, Inc. now has ministries on the continent of Africa and the country of Haiti, comprising the newly formed – Foreign Missions Diocese. Congregations of American Samoan Churches are also a part of The CCHL, Inc. Bishop Lewis is married to the lovely, First Lady, Essie Bell Grant Lewis. Together, they have been a blessing to the body of Christ and The CCHL, Inc.
